Welcome to the blog for Sweet Birch Farm in Meriden, CT!   Our fruits and vegetables are grown using organic and biological methods.  We do not use pesticides, herbicides, or soil destroying fertilizers.  We inoculate the soil with microbes that feed upon compost and minerals to make a rich natural fertilizer for the plant.  This results in a richer tasting, nutrient dense fruit and vegetable. We search for the best tasting natural varieties of fruits and vegetables and avoid any genetically modified varieties.
